Jean-Baptiste Jacouton is a research officer at AFD, where he works on sustainable finance.
Overview
After obtaining a research master’s degree in Economic Development Analysis (Université Clermont Auvergne/CERDI), Jean-Baptiste Jacouton joined AFD Group in 2021.
The research programme he is part of focuses on the role of Public Development Banks (PDBs) in financing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As part of the Finance in Common coalition, he participates in the coordination of the International Research Initiative on Public Development Banks.
At the crossroads of research and operational thinking, he is involved in the development of the SDG Prospector, a tool that uses artificial intelligence to map SDGs in any kind of text.
